Move on

Why did the Archive go to Switzerland?

At his beginnings Wagenschein had been employed at Paul Geheeb's
Odenwaldschule in Oberhambach (Germany).
These nine years influenced him so much, that all his later working -
in public school as well as in university life
was based on this experience.

A lifelong friendship to Paul and Edith Geheeb was resulting from that time.

Thus it is not at all astonishing that Wagenschein himself at the end of his life decided
- in agreement with Christoph Berg (who is responsible for all unpublished work) -
to leave his estate to the school of Geheeb in Switzerland
the Ecole d'Humanité.
